SESSION V

Organizing the information

  •  If information, brochures and STUFF are already in stacks all over your life, get a box.  Put all the college stuff in the box EXCEPT THE APPLICATIONS THEMSELVES – keep those separate and safe and NEAT in their own file in a place you can find later.
  •    Put it in the box ALPHABETICALLY.
  • When you are ready to work at this,

Choose no more than FIVE.  Nobody needs more than five choices.  Be certain one of the five is an insurance school – the one you are absolutely positive you can get into – and wouldn’t mind attending if Great Aunt Sally has to move into your home and you’re needed to help while she recuperates from the yak attack she suffered while being stranded in the Himalayas for six years…and your college fund is being used for her medical bills.  [Hint:  that’ll be UTA for most of you.]

Even if you are positive there is only one college in the world you could bear to attend, apply to five.  You  might change your mind.  It happens.
